MyVAC 102 is a Newcastle disease live vaccine in a freeze dried form. It is prepared from Newcastle virus of B1 type, LaSota strain and propagated in embryonated SPF eggs.

MyVAC 102 can be used in chicken of 2 weeks old and onwards as primary vaccination or subsequent booster.

Route of Administration

Oral route (drinking water) or intraocular (eye drop) or intranasal (nose drop).

Method of Administration
+

Eye Drop or Nose Drop Method

  1. 1. Dissolve vaccine properly in a 30 ml sterile diluent.

  2. 2. Hold chicken with one eye facing up position.

  3. 3. Administer one drop of vaccine onto the eye (intraocular) or nose (intranasal) of chickens.

Drinking Water Method

  1. 1. Determine the flock water consumption over a 2-hour period.

  2. 2. If using tap water, make sure the water is free from chlorine by keeping it a day before usage or add 5g/L of skimmed milk powder.

  3. 3. Clean the water drinker or water tank and fill with sufficient fresh water. Reconstitute the vaccine.

  4. 4. Complete the vaccination within 2-hour period.

Dosage

0.03 ml per bird.

Precautions
+
  • 1. Store between 2–8°C (35–46°F) and avoid freezing.

  • 2. Use all contents immediately after opening.

  • 3. Any remaining unused contents should be inactivated prior to disposal.

  • 4. Do not administer the vaccine within 21 days prior to slaughter.

  • 5. Do not mix with other products unless specifically stated on the product label.

  • 6. In the event of human exposure, seek medical attention promptly.
